Sardar Machinery Welcomes Dustapa Students for an Inspiring Educational Experience
Erbil, Iraq – July 2025
As part of its ongoing community engagement efforts and commitment to fostering knowledge from an early age, Sardar Automobile & Machinery Trading Company Co., Ltd. welcomed a group of students from Dustapa Elementary and Junior High School for an educational and awareness-focused visit on July 1st, 2025, in collaboration with the Japanese non-profit organization Ivy Japan.
This initiative is part of the company’s Social Cooperative Relationship Program, which aims to strengthen connections with educational institutions and support learning and development. It reflects Sardar Machinery’s belief in investing in people and building a knowledge-based society.
The visit brought together more than 36 students, who participated in a series of interactive and educational activities designed to enhance their understanding of heavy machinery and its role in supporting infrastructure and essential services in the community.
The event was attended by Mr. Shamal Al Bebany, Deputy CEO of Sardar Group and Director of JLR Operations, along with management teams from Sardar Machinery and its sister companies, all of whom emphasized their support for educational initiatives that connect younger generations with the world of industry and modern technology.
The visit began with an introductory session led by the company team, highlighting key brands represented by Sardar Machinery, including Komatsu, Hino, Tadano, and Thermo King. Students learned about the importance of these brands and how their machines are used in daily life and industrial sectors.
A dedicated session on safety awareness followed, using visual presentations, illustrations, and short videos to introduce basic safety practices when dealing with heavy machinery, helping instill a sense of responsibility in the students.
One of the highlights of the visit was a guided tour through the workshops and maintenance facilities, where students observed live equipment demonstrations, including the operation of a Komatsu mini excavator, offering them a firsthand, hands-on experience.
The tour also included a visit to the spare parts warehouse, where students explored various types of components, how they are organized, and how they support day-to-day operations.
The visit concluded with a creative art activity, during which students colored the logos of the machinery brands playfully to reinforce learning through visual expression. The company also distributed commemorative gifts to all students, and the event wrapped up with group photos, capturing a joyful and educational atmosphere.
